Conscience is the voice of the soul that burns within the chamber of your heart. It is a voice that is a witness to a good or wrong act. It is a sieve within us that judges/convicts our actions.
We are a spirit being, possess a soul (mind, will, emotions) and are free moral agents.
The voice of the Holy Spirit is a “still small voice” that is gentle and will not force.
When we are born again our human spirit is united with the Holy Spirit so it now becomes a born again spirit.

When a person is willing to please God, he becomes sensitive to His Voice, and his conscience (voice of the soul) is crucial in this process. It becomes an ally of God so He can show whether the person’s actions are correct or incorrect before Him.

In John 8:9 And they which heard [it], being convicted by [their own] conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, [even] unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
Conscience (Greek= suneidésis) i.e. conscience which joins moral and spiritual consciousness as part of being created in the divine image. Accordingly, all people have this God-given capacity to know right from wrong because each is a free moral agent. (Strongs)
